What the app stores

Open Tunings Trainer stores saved progressions, selected tuning choices, and practice settings on your device so the app works without an account or cloud sync.

Audio and playback

The app plays chord sounds locally so you can practice loops and hear chord changes. The tuner uses microphone access only when you start the tuner. Audio is processed on your device and is not recorded or sent to us.

Purchases

Open Tunings Trainer is a free download with a free 3-day Trial. After that, monthly access is $0.99/month and renews unless canceled, or you can choose the one-time $9.99 lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase. Purchases, trials, refunds, subscriptions, and billing are handled by Apple.

Analytics

We use limited anonymous PostHog analytics for basic app and website usage, onboarding completion, and purchase-screen reliability so we can understand whether the app and website are working reliably. These events do not include your saved progressions, chord contents, practice history, or tuning choices.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data, share your practice history with advertisers, or use analytics for ad tracking.
